As a GNU/Linux user only since 2012 and with no programming background (I teach music lessons for a living), I still find it surprising to now be spending much of my time working on software freedom issues. The welcoming community I experienced when first moving to GNU/Linux led one thing to another to what has turned into the major, ambitious vision I work on at Snowdrift.coop.
