Brian is the Chief Storyteller (CEO) of Synapse Software, in Colorado Springs, CO. Brian is a sponsor/co-organizer of Colorado Springs JS, where he has talked about node.js. He's also the founder and maintainer of Pails, a minimal MVC framework for PHP. In the past, he's taught introductory and intermediate courses at nearby University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and worked at a variety of start-up and established companies developing software in more programming languages than anyone would ever care to admit.
