Chromebook - Give me a bash$

With the web and cloud computing, software environments are pervasive on Linux servers. Software development and DevOps in these environments often requires a terminal or bash prompt. The MacBook more than a Linux laptop is often the default computer at devfests, colleges and workplaces. Recently students and professional developers have started exploring for reasonable alternatives to Macbooks. Chromebooks are one option to get a bash prompt, we'll provide doc and tips to Crouton your Chromebook to run Ubuntu. Sometimes more power is required than Chromebooks offer and we'll compare with the recent Microsoft Windows 10 support for bash running Ubuntu. We’ll also look at ephemeral cloud bash as well as cloud environments as well as machines that ship with Linux. We'll summarize and compare the different options and the freedoms and limitations with respect to Chromebook--give me a bash$.
