This talk will broadly cover progress of the PHP language,  standards, tools, frameworks and advancements that will help maintain it as a viable and robust language in the coming years.

The talk is targeted to programmers that have spent a few years away from PHP based programming, as well as newcomers that want to quickly come up to speed. The intended audience is programmers that have knowledge of at least one popular scripting language (JavaScript, Python, etc), Object Oriented Programming and MVC web frameworks.
