First part of the talk will go into the basics of using sympy to do simple symbolic and some numeric mathematics. This will focus on algebra, algebraic simplification, differentiation, definite and indefinite integrals, sums, series and plotting.

The second part of the talk will focus on solving simplified cases of real world engineering problems focusing mainly on Mechanical engineering but if there is time touching on other disciplines.
